Do you want to give your TAs the tools to unlock ideas, build confidence, and support struggling writers with impact?

This course will equip your support staff with simple, effective strategies to boost writing skills and confidence.

This course will assist TAs to:

  • Identify common reasons children struggle with writing, including SEN, EAL, and confidence issues.

  • Support planning, sentence building, and editing with practical tools like writing frames and oral rehearsal.

  • Help pupils construct accurate, varied sentences using simple strategies.

  • Use phonics-based spelling help and build writing stamina through handwriting techniques.

  • Give effective praise, set small goals, and foster a love of writing.

Excellent knowledge and enthusiasm for the course and an infectious love of literacy. Thank you for reigniting a love of writing for me.
